Welcome to Walking Works Wonders, we are part of Walking For Health.
Connecting actively to nature through walking can have a positive effect on our health and wellbeing, helping relieve stress and depression. We have a level 1 walk at Decoy Park, Newton Abbot for people living with pain, disabilities and/or health conditions, the walk is approximately 30/45 minutes with benches on the way around the lake which is set in beautiful woodland. The walk is lead by friendly trained walk leaders and we meet up afterwards for coffee, tea and biscuits and a chat.
There is ample parking available for 50p for up to 2 hours and toilets.
The walk is every Thursday at 11am, meet at the kiosk, no commitment just turn up!
NEW WALK STARTING FRIDAY 21ST FEB IN COLLABORATION WITH EAT THAT FROG
